Activities and Events
Paradise Mountain Family Resort hosts daily activities and events that are
sure offer something for every member of the family. Following is a listing
of just some of our offerings:
Family Fun
- Welcome Receptions
- Join us poolside every Monday morning for a selection of fresh pastries
and beverages and every Thursday evening for snacks and soft drinks.
- Everyone welcome! Cost: Free
- Volleyball
- Looking for someone to play with? Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon
our resort personnel are ready and able to join guests in a rousing game of
volleyball. Children of all ages from 4 to 94 join in the games – proving
that you’re never too old for fun!
- Cost: Free
Kid Stuff
- Kraft Korner
- Resort councilors are on hand to help the little ones participate in a
variety of craft activities. See with activity center staff for a list of
activities.
- Cost: $2 per child (2 and up)
- All children must be signed in and out by an adult or guest 16 years or
older.
- Children under 4 must be accompanied by a guest 12 years or older.
- Story Time
- Every afternoon from 1- 3 p.m. your little ones will enjoy a light snack
followed by a story or two read by one of our dedicated staff members, while
you have an hour or two to yourself. Following the story, kids will enjoy
“quiet-time coloring” or gentle play—some smaller ones might even take a
nap.
- Cost: Free (ages 2 to 12)
- This activity is limited to the first 30 participants, so reservations
are suggested.
- All children must be signed in and out by an adult or guest 16 years or
older.
- Skateboard Instruction
- Skilled skateboarders will instruct our teen and pre-teen guests on
proper skateboarding techniques and demonstrate a variety of tricks.
- Cost: Free (ages 8 to 18)
- All children must have a parental consent form.
- Children under 10 must be accompanied by a guest 12 years or older.
For the Grownups
- A night on the town
- Your evening begins early as you ride into the heart of downtown Estes
Park for a chance to meander through the town square and view its impressive statuary then discover unique craftsmanship inspired by the majestic Rocky
Mountains as you explore Estes Park's many shops.
- As evening sets, your group moves to the Gallery Restaurant where you’ll
partake of a fantastic steak or grilled chicken dinner while enjoying a
fabulous mountain view from the patio (weather permitting) or through the
floor-to-ceiling windows. Your evening ends with a trip to one of the local
dancing establishments where you can enjoy your choice of beverage and
deserts and dance to authentic Western music.
- Cost: $30 per person (18 years or older).
- Transportation provided to and from resort. -- Reservations
required
- Pinochle party
- Join your fellow guests in the activity center multipurpose room for a
night of fun! Soft drinks and snacks provided.
- Cost: $5 per person (18 years or older)
